SUDOESTE ALENTEJANO E COSTA VICENTINA
This Natural Park translates to Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast and is a narrow slice of land in the southwest coast of the country with 110 km in length that stretches between São Torpes (Alentejo) all the way down south to Burgau (Algarve). This is a protected area, which means it has a very pure and authentic feel. It comprises a rich biodiversity, a powerful ocean great for surfing, adorable little seaside villages, amazing wild beaches and also Cabo de São Vicente (the south-westernmost point of Europe mainland).
The Rota Vicentina, which gathers over 400 km of amazing trails, also brought attention to this part of the country and allows who visits to have a mix of active and relaxing holidays.
